Back in Stock: All Tire Sizes and Casings

Back in Stock: All Tire Sizes and Casings

This is just a short notice that we received another shipment of tires. These include long-awaited favorites like our award-winning Fleecer Ridge 29″ x 2.2″ and our ever-popular Bon Jon Pass 700C x 35. Now all sizes and casings are back in stock.

We’re still short of some colors – we had to prioritize production during the current shortages. Stocks of some models are still low. All this will improve in the coming months, as things (slowly) get back to normal. Thank you for your patience. Enjoy the ride! (And please be safe.)

    Is there a 29 x 2.3″ Fleecer Ridge?

The Fleecer Ridge is about 54-57 mm wide in real terms, depending on rim width, casing, pressure and whether you mount it tubeless. Some people would label it a 2.3″, we prefer 2.2″.

Do you still have backstock of tires labeled “Compass”? Are there any differences between the “Compass” tires and their current counterparts?

Since the change to the new branding was on a rotating basis, some tire models still carry the Compass name, until the existing stocks are sold and new tires are produced. Our tires continuously evolve, but the most important recent changes to the existing models occurred just before the changeover of the branding. So there’s no difference between a Rene Herse and recent-production Compass tires. (There are significant differences between older and more recent Compass tires, with respect to tubeless-compatibility and other specs.) Our most recent major changes, the new noise-cancelling tread patterns, as well as the Endurance and Endurance Plus casings are too new to have even been made with Compass branding.
