The SRAM PC-850 is the chain of choice for classic drivetrains: strong, durable, well-shifting and economical. It’s the chain we run on our own bikes with 7- and 8-speed drivetrains.
The PowerLink connector allows removing the chain without weakening the plates through repeated riveting.
Pro Tip: Compared to the PC-830, the PC-850 has chrome-hardened pins for added durability. SRAM’s higher-grade models have nickel-plated links and other features that don’t improve function or longevity. The PC-850 has top-end functionality at the most affordable cost.
