SON SL 12 mm Thru-Axle Fork Ends, Stainless Steel

Now also available for thru-axles wheels: The connector-less SL system simplifies wheel changes: No more wires! Using the special dropout on your fork, the electrical connection is automatic: One pole is routed through the axle (and your frame), the other through an insulated ring that mates with a corresponding, insulated ring on your dropout. Simply insert the wheel, and the light is connected.

Framebuilders use these dropouts to build a fork for SON SL ‘connector-less’ 12 mm thru-axle hubs. Stainless steel to resist oxidation. Requires an SL connector kit for 12 mm thru-axle.

Pro Tip: The flat-mount version places the fender eyelets closer to the axle to make room for the flat-mount adapter.
