Restock: TPU Tubes and Fenders
We just received a long-awaited restock of TPU tubes and fenders. The parts that many customers have been waiting for are now back in stock.
At this point, we don’t need to tell you much about our TPU tubes. Light, small and fast, they also offer a ride feel that’s hard to describe, but easy to notice on the road. They are the perfect complement to supple tires, and also great as spares if you run your tires tubeless.
During Jan and Becca’s recent ride to the MADE Show via Loowit (Mount St. Helens), Jan ran his Extralights with TPU tubes, while Becca ran the Endurance casing tubeless (above). We’re offering our TPU tubes for five wheel sizes between 16″ and 32″, in three widths for tires between 20 and 68 mm, with five different valves—a total of 25 different models. All are in stock again, but some are already running low now that we’ve shipped pre-orders.
Our fenders also don’t need much introduction. Lighter, with better coverage, and more durable than other fenders on the market, we’ve designed and tested them as rigorously as our other components. They’ve survived (and thrived) in rough environments like the Oregon Outback and the Ape Canyon mountain bike trail: no rattles, no tightening of screws, no adjustment necessary. Mount them and forget them, until it rains, and they make the difference between a fun and a somewhat miserable ride. (Becca also noted that Jan’s bike stayed much cleaner during their ride through the clouds.) Rene Herse fenders come with comprehensive, illustrated instructions to guide you through the process of mounting them on your bike.
