Rene Herse Front Derailleur Frame Jig
$185.00
This jig locates the parts of the Rene Herse front derailleur on back of the seat tube for brazing. It’s essential for correct alignment of these parts.
The jig is used in two steps: First to braze on the lever pivot (Photo 2), then to braze on the square tube for the shifter fork (Photo 3).
Derailleur parts are shown for reference only. They are not included (available separately).
Pro Tip: The jig has different positions for the derailleur height, depending on the size of the large chainring that will be used on the bike. Smaller chainrings (up to 4 teeth) can be used, but not larger—locate the derailleur for the largest chainring that may be used on the bike.
