Our Blog Has Moved

We are excited to move our blog and integrate it seamlessly with our Rene Herse Cycles web site. This will allow us to create even more exciting content. And now we can link directly between blog posts and support pages. This and other changes will improve your experience as you use this resource. If you subscribed to the old blog, your subscription will automatically move here. (You will get a message from WordPress about this.)

Please bookmark the new site. Better yet, click on the ‘Follow Our Blog’ button to receive a short e-mail when a new post goes up. (It’s easy to unsubscribe by clicking the button again.) Thank you!

    Embracing technology – well done.

Please now make Bicycle Quarterly available digitally.

Problem is, I think this move is causing you to spam me with a bunch of emails. Since last night, I’ve received probably 30 emails, which are just copies of all the previous emails that was sent to me as I had subscribed to the blog.

Very sorry about this! We migrated the posts first, and the subscribers second, so this should not have happened. However, it seems that the software tried to outsmart us, and decided to send a notification for every post that was migrated to the new site. I am very sorry to all our readers whose inboxes were flooded.

Is this perhaps why my Inbox has been flooded with copies of what seems to be Every.Single.Past.Post on this blog today? In some cases, mutliple duplicates of the same posts. It has actually forced me to try and figure out how to unsubscribe from this blog altogether, but WordPress is not playing nice, and I’m still being deluged. 🙁

Figured that something was up on revamping your site since I got like 56 emails today from every blog entry for the last few years.

We are investigating what happened. It should not happen again. We apologize to you and all our readers who were inconvenienced that way.

For me, not a real inconvenience. I scanned the subjects and ended up revisiting a few earlier posts. A happy accident 🙂

who could be inconvenienced by receiving an excellently written blog with beautiful photographs? A small price to pay for the benefits we will receive from this transition!

Sorry this wasn’t clear: The blog is moving here – you’ve come to the right place. It used to be hosted separately, but we are integrating it into our web site.
