Restock: Fenders, Lights, Hubs, Handlebars, TPU Tubes
Our long-awaited shipments have (finally) arrived. The ship actually arrived almost three weeks ago… With all the new tariffs, the custom’s people are overworked, and it can take weeks to inspect and clear a shipment. Here is what’s back in stock:
If you’ve been anywhere near the West Coast during the last few (rainy) weeks, you understand why we care so much about fenders. Fenders with ample coverage, so that not just our bodies, but also our feet and our bike’s drivetrain remain dry and clean. Fenders with uninterrupted interiors and rolled edges to keep the water inside, rather than drip-dripping onto our feet. Fenders that mount securely and don’t rattle or resonate when we ride on rough roads. Fenders that are also among the lightest anywhere.
All models are back in stock. Thank you to all who’ve been waiting patiently for them.

Lights and Generator Hubs
The amazing Ladelux headlights combine SON’s shaped low beam—for even illumination of the road surface—with a high beam that not only throws more light into the distance, but also avoids blind spots when we lean our bikes hard into turns during twisty night-time descents. Plus the ability to charge our devices on the go. All coupled with electronics that maximize the charge current, while avoiding the on/off charging that’s so damaging for the batteries of our electronics. There’s no other light today that offers this kind of performance and technology. We’ve got them back in stock.
New are 46 cm-long charging cables for your electronics, in addition to the 30 and 100 cm-long cables. They’re available with a USB-C connector or for Apple devices.
SON recently introduced a new light holder that attaches to your GoPro mount. GoPro mounts are incredibly versatile and can be attached almost anywhere on your bike. Now we can use them to attach our headlights as well. The forked light mount holds the headlight ultra-securely. Weight is just 16 g including the bolt. Machined from aluminum. (The photo shows a 3D-printed prototype.)

We also got restocks of most SON generator hubs. Especially the thru-axle models for bikepacking and gravel bikes have been popular. Having lights at all times without having to worry about battery charges allows us to enjoy on our rides even more. We’re stocking models for 12 and 15 mm thru-axles, with standard and Boost spacing, for Centerlock or 6-bolt disc rotors. There are two models: The SON Delux is superfast and superlight. The SON 28 is almost as light and fast, yet provides more current, especially at low speeds.
SON coaxial connectors—as on the hub above—are the gold standard when it comes to connecting electric wires on our bikes. They are secure and weatherproof, unlike many connectors that stop conducting electricity after prolonged exposure to the elements. SON headlights are available with coaxial connectors preinstalled.
If you’re doing a custom installation, soldering the coaxial cables can be a bit tricky. The new SON jig makes soldering the coaxial cables much easier. At the end of this post is a link to a video that shows how to solder coaxial connectors using this jig.

We’ve got most handlebar models back in stock as well. Rene Herse bars offer generous curves and a truly ergonomic shape that’s been tested over 10,000s of miles of long-distance rides and races. Whether it’s our Professional model (formerly the Maes Parallel, above) or the Randonneur, they are among the secrets to riding long distances without aches and pains. Both are available in 25.4 and 31.8 mm clamp diameters. (And we’ve got shims if you’ need bars for’re running a 26.0 mm stem.) Most widths are in stock again.
For the growing number of riders who don’t lock their feet into clipless pedals, MKS makes the world’s best pedals. We only stock their top-of-the-line models, with silky-smooth cartridge that spin (almost) forever. Our latest shipment includes our most popular models, including the Allways flat pedal (above) that’s just the right size: Large enough to support your foot, no matter what shoes you wear, but not so large that your foot pushes through the gaps between the cages. A slightly concave platform and removable pins ensure that your foot has a firm hold on the pedal.

Our TPU restock arrived last week. They are going fast—some models are already running low. We’ll have more in about a month, but if you need or want some before then, please order sooner rather than later.
If you’ve pre-ordered any of the above, your order is first in line to be shipped.
