SONdelux SL 12 mm Centerlock Disc

The ultimate generator hub for custom-built all-road and adventure bikes, now available with the connector-less SL system. Simply insert the wheel, and the light is connected! The current is transmitted via the axle (positive) and an insulated ring that is pressed onto the axle (negative), which mate with a contact plate in the special SL fork ends on your fork (plate and fork ends not included, available separately).

The internals are the same as Schmidt’s proven Delux hub, with low resistance, light weight and excellent reliability. The widely-spaced, symmetric flanges make it easy to build a strong wheel.

We also offer rims and spokes to build a complete wheel with this hub.

Note: The SL system requires a fork with special dropouts that feature a built-in connecting plate. This generator hub is also available with standard connectors to fit all bikes.

Pro Tip: The barrels of some SON hubs are wrapped with blue tape. This protects the hub from getting scratched when the spokes are inserted. Remove the tape after you’ve laced the wheel!
