SON SL Thru-Axle Fork Ends, Hooded

Now also available for thru-axles wheels: The connector-less SL system simplifies wheel changes: No more wires! Using the special dropout on your fork, the electrical connection is automatic: One pole is routed through the axle (and your frame), the other through an insulated ring that mates with a corresponding, insulated ring on your dropout. Simply insert the wheel, and the light is connected.

Framebuilders use these hooded fork ends to build a fork for SON SL “connector-less” 12 mm thru-axle hubs. Choice of stainless or mild steel. Requires an SL connector kit for 12 mm thru-axle.

Pro Tip: These are the second version of these fork ends. The first version didn’t align perfectly with the hub, but this has been fixed with the current redesign.
