Looking for an easier way to add sealant to your tubeless tires—or your TPU tubes? The Straz Sealant Funnel is a great alternative to sealant injectors. Simply thread the funnel onto the valve, add sealant, and watch it drain into the tire.
The sealant drains slowly, and the funnel’s 30 ml capacity makes it easy to gauge how much sealant you’re putting into the tire. The funnel works great with most sealants, including Rene Herse Supple Tubeless Sealant and TPU Tube Sealant. For cleanup, rinse with water.
- Blue funnel: for fully threaded valves (threads all the way to the top)—that’s probably what you have.
- Orange funnel: for fully or partially threaded valves (top ~5 mm are smooth)—takes longer to thread on.
Pro Tip: If you’d like the sealant to drain faster, pinch and release the tire to create a vacuum that sucks in the sealant.
