Happy Juneteenth!

In two weeks’ time, we’ll celebrate the lofty ideals on which this country was founded—today we reflect on the long and sometimes arduous path to get there. And yet today isn’t a solemn holiday, but a joyful celebration of what we’ve achieved, and a way to get energized to continue our path toward becoming the country and world we want to be.
